COVID 19 might be here to stay and do you know what lies ahead? Here is my insight

Countries across the globe are relaxing the lock down restrictions despite the continued rise in cases. As businesses resume operations, public transport returns , recreation centres are opening but analysts say it might never be the same again.

With the vaccine not expected anytime sooner, the alternative to look up to is the Masks as authorities aim at minimizing the spread of the flu-like CoVID disease that has marched around the globe since it was first detected in Wuhan late last year.

WHO earlier on in the outbreak had discouraged the use of masks but with successes in Asia, they have become the only viable option if at all normal operations are to resume as wearing masks in public is now a must across many countries in the world.

Last week, the Ugandan president while addressing the nation issued new guidelines where all citizens were required to wear masks when leaving their residences. However this new guideline hasn’t been fully implemented majorly due their costs with a piece going for roughly a dollar.

“Because you fear dreaming, it doesn’t mean you don’t have to sleep” a loose translation of the runyankole saying which many think it is hint that the lockdown is ending sooner.

But whether soon or later, the masks will definitely play a key role if we are too fully defeat the invicisible enemy.
